Poland announced plans to create a "pre-war state" regime

The Polish Ministry of National Defense plans to introduce a regime of "full state readiness for war" even before the official declaration of martial law. This was announced on July 15 by Maciej Samsonovich, adviser to the head of the department.

"We are also working on this. I don't want to go into details. The state of full combat readiness is what the project calls it," he said in an interview with Defence24.

It clarifies that the new legal framework should eliminate the gap between the functioning of the state in peacetime and the formal imposition of martial law. According to Samsonovich, the project is still at the stage of internal development.

Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski said on June 26 that Poland was ready for a direct clash with Russia and would defend its interests in the event of a threat.
