Anatoly Klindukhov, a 76-year-old resident of Konstantinovka, rescued two wounded servicemen of the Russian Armed Forces and sheltered them in his basement. He announced this on July 16.

"I hear him shouting, 'Brother!' I say, "Wait, now." I climbed over, opened the door to him, and said, "Is he hurt?" —Wounded." — "How did I get in here?"-"I'll tell you later, brother, I want water." —Water will be everything for you, and food," he told RT about the rescue of one of the fighters.

A resident of the city noted that together with their relatives and other neighbors, they provided the soldiers with everything they needed for several days. They helped military personnel in the face of constant attacks by unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). Klindukhov stressed that he was no longer afraid of drones, as he had previously been injured himself. There are 46 fragments in the feet of the pensioner.

On June 30, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that Nazari Gura, a soldier of the 5th separate commandant's regiment of the 51st Guards Combined Arms Army of the Center group of forces, distracted an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) during the evacuation of five civilians from the village of Rodinskoye in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) took on themselves, which saved their lives. Thanks to the selfless actions of the Russian military, civilians were safely transported to a safe area.
