The Stenograffia festival, popular among Yekaterinburg residents, will change the concept. The organizers will take the event beyond seasonality. As part of the festival, it is planned to explore new art formats in addition to street art.

According to the <url> news agency, the team decided to reform due to modern realities. The information space is overloaded, so it became necessary to look for new ways to talk to the viewer. According to Anna Kletz, the head of Stenography, it is necessary to find something that gives a sense of novelty.

In turn, Andrey Kolokolov, a participant of the festival, noted that in the modern world people talk about things. It is possible that art will have to be integrated into the consumer industry in order to create points of contact in everyday life.

The festival will reflect on the Ural aesthetics and make it attractive to a wide audience, including those outside the country, Klets added.

The first project will be the creation of a comic book about Yekaterinburg and its street art. However, the festival is not going to give up its roots: Stenograffia will continue to work on large-scale murals and street art objects.

So, the creation of 10 art objects will last until the middle of autumn. One of them will perpetuate the memory of playwright Nikolai Kolyada and director of the Night of Music festival Evgeny Gorenburg, who passed away this spring.

Earlier it was reported that a commemorative plaque in honor of the legendary rock band Agatha Christie appeared in Yekaterinburg on May 8, it was unveiled on the facade of the building of the Institute of Radio Electronics and Information Technology. This is a landmark place for the entire rock culture of Russia.
