The Moscow City Court recognized the lawful arrest of Atashyan in the fraud case.
The Moscow City Court remanded Khatuna Atashyan in custody, accused of fraud. This was reported on July 15 in the press service of the courts of general jurisdiction of the Russian Federation.
"On July 15, 2026, the Moscow City Court of Appeal upheld the decision of the Khamovnicheskiy District Court of Moscow on the election of a preventive measure in the form of detention in respect of Khatuna Vladimirovna Atashyan," the Telegram channel said.
They also recalled that she is accused of committing a crime under Part 2 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and two crimes under Part 3 of Article 159 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
Irina Volk, the official representative of the Russian Interior Ministry, said on June 3 that Atashyan had been detained in Minsk. According to investigators, she promised the bloggers accommodation under advertising contracts or partner programs, claiming that they only needed to pay for the trip of their companions. The damage caused by the actions of the attacker exceeded 10 million rubles.
The girl was detained on June 5 until August 3. According to the lawyer, Atashyan fully repaid the damage and returned part of the money to the clients even before her detention. She admitted her guilt and stated that she had tried to escape because of the threats she received. Later, the defense filed a complaint against the decision of the Khamovnichesky court.
