A British citizen accidentally dropped his three-year-old son from his hands while playing together in one of the hotels in the village of Chloraka in Cyprus. This was reported by The Sun newspaper on July 15, citing law enforcement agencies.

"Father <...> rocked his son "from side to side." <... Then, presumably, the boy slipped out of his father's arms and fell," the article says.

The investigators who arrived at the scene of the tragedy decided that a window with a width of 1.2 m and a height of 2.4 m was probably open in the family room without the knowledge of the adults.

The child was found on the veranda and hospitalized, but he later died. His 37-year-old father was assigned a number of medical examinations, including a toxicological one. According to the results of the research, it turned out that the man's blood did not contain any drugs. Now the man has been arrested and is suspected of "causing death by negligence, reckless and dangerous actions."

It was noted that the tragedy occurred only 40 minutes after the family checked into the hotel.

On July 1, the New York Post reported the death in Florida of a young boy who was accidentally left in a parked car by his father. It was noted that the man, leaving the car parked in the sun, thought that he had already taken his son to kindergarten. At that time, the air temperature in this area reached +38 degrees.
