Wheelchair user's stepson convicted of torture was spotted at large

Vasily Vasin, who bullied his stepson in Drozhzhin near Moscow, was released from the penal colony. This was announced on July 15 by a source of Izvestia.

It is noted that the man was noticed at home by residents on Yuzhnaya Street. According to eyewitnesses, the man tried to ingratiate himself with the residents and asked the neighbors to spend the night.

The footage shows that Vasin is being assisted by medical staff. During the medical examination, the man also stated that he no longer "lives anywhere."

In July last year, a video appeared online showing a man hitting a child with a bat. The Investigative Committee clarified that after the beating, the victim's mother did not seek medical help and did not report the crime to the authorities. The defendant, who was previously convicted of theft, confessed to the crime. A criminal case was opened into the incident under the article on attempted murder.

Shortly after, the boy and two other children were removed from the family and sent for treatment. It later became clear that the mother of many children was also involved in systematic torture. According to the injured child, among other things, the woman poured boiling water over him. Multiple bruises, bruises and burns were found on the boy's body.

Vasin was sentenced to 14 years in prison on March 23 for beating his stepson. At the same time, the court decided to recover 1.7 million rubles from the defendant in the case in favor of the children. At the same time, the cohabitant of the accused was sentenced to seven years in prison.
