Regional divisions of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia will cancel resolutions on bringing drivers queuing at gas stations to administrative responsibility for violations of the rules of parking and stopping vehicles. This was announced on July 15 by Irina Volk, the official representative of the Russian Interior Ministry, in her channel in the Maks messenger.

We are talking about situations where motorists, while waiting for their turn to refuel, were forced to park their car on the side of the road or on the carriageway.

"In the case of appeals from citizens who have been ordered to impose administrative penalties for similar traffic offenses, decisions on their cancellation will be made for each such decision in all regional departments of the State Traffic Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, taking into account the insignificance of the offense committed or the actions of the driver in an emergency," Irina Volk noted.

On the same day, the situation with fuel availability and queues at gas stations improved markedly in 13 regions of Russia. According to the gas station locator website, queues have decreased in Kaliningrad, Orel, Bryansk, Irkutsk, Kaluga, Smolensk, Novgorod, Kurgan regions, as well as in Primorsky Krai, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District, Kalmykia, Buryatia and the Komi Republic.
