Businessman Ilya Traber refused to admit guilt in the case of the murder of Alexander Petrov, a deputy of the Vyborgsky municipal district of the Leningrad Region. This was reported on July 15 by a correspondent of Izvestia from the courtroom.

"No, of course he doesn't. How can this nonsense be commented on," said his lawyer Igor Sochiyants.

On June 18, the Basmanny Court of Moscow placed under arrest for two months two defendants in the criminal case of contract killings, in which Traber was previously arrested. Later, the defense of Said Saladinov, accused in the criminal case of contract killings, appealed against his arrest.

The businessman was detained on June 17 in St. Petersburg. Later, he was taken to Moscow for investigative actions in a criminal case of murder.
