Two earthquakes of magnitude 6.0 and 5.7 occurred in Kamchatka.

Two earthquakes of magnitude 6.0 and 5.7 occurred off the coast of Kamchatka. On July 15, the Kamchatka branch of the Federal Research Center of the Unified Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences reported this.

"Distance from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky: 210 km. Depth: 64.6 km. Magnitude: 6.0," the Telegram channel says.

The second seismic event occurred at a distance of 206 km from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. Its source was at a depth of 72 km.

Later, the research center also reported two more earthquakes, with magnitudes of 5.0 and 4.5.

On July 13, the Main Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations in Buryatia reported that an earthquake had occurred in the Tunka region. The epicenter of the seismic event was located 7.6 km northwest of the village of Kyren.
