Macron congratulates Spain on its victory over France in the 1/2 FIFA World Cup match
On July 14, French leader Emmanuel Macron congratulated the Spanish national team on their victory over the French team in the semifinal match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

On the same day, the Spanish national team defeated the French team in the semi-final match of the FIFA World Cup. The match took place in Arlington and ended with a score of 2:0. The first goal in the 22nd minute was scored by Mikel Oyarzabal, who converted a penalty. In the 58th minute, Pedro Porro doubled the Spaniards' advantage.
