In Russia, families with children must receive government payments in the amount of 500,000 to 700,000 rubles to repay mortgage loans, depending on the order of birth of children. This was announced on July 15 by Sergei Mironov, chairman of the Fair Russia party.

"These are also progressive payments: at the birth of the first child, the state pays off the debt by 500 thousand, the second child — 600 thousand, the third — 700 thousand rubles," Mironov said in an interview with TASS.

According to the deputy, for large families, a separate payment for the purchase or construction of housing in the amount of 1.8 million rubles should be provided. The parliamentarian stressed that such measures would be an effective incentive for the growth of the birth rate in the country.

The politician also recalled that the faction had previously submitted for consideration a bill on the introduction of progressive maternity capital. According to the document, the payment for the second child is proposed to be increased to 1.4 million rubles, and for the third and subsequent children — to almost 1.9 million rubles.

Alexander Aksenenko, deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Construction and Housing, said on July 11 that the implementation of the Family Mortgage program in Russia continues on the same basis, while the preferential rate of 6% remains for all citizens who meet the established criteria.
