It is clarified that tensions are fueled by the territorial dispute over the Falkland Islands (Malvinas) in the South Atlantic, over which Britain and Argentina conducted military operations in 1982.

To ensure law and order in Atlanta, where the game will take place, law enforcement agencies will use additional forces. The patrols will pay special attention to the territories adjacent to the stadium and the places of residence of the national teams.
