Air defense systems destroyed 12 drones over Kaluga region
The Air Defense Forces eliminated 12 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) over the territory of the Kaluga Region. This was announced on July 14 by the governor of the region Vladislav Shapsha.
"The air defense forces destroyed 12 more UAVs over the territories of Babyninsky, Borovsky, Dzerzhinsky, Zhizdrinsky, Medinsky, Peremyshlsky and Ferzikovsky municipal districts," the message says in the Maks messenger.
The governor added that specialists are working at the incident sites. According to preliminary information, no one was injured as a result of the incident.
On July 14, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that air defense systems intercepted and destroyed 252 Ukrainian drones in the skies over the regions of Russia during the day. It was noted that drones were neutralized over the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Tver, Kaluga, Tula, Orel, Ryazan and Rostov regions, over the Krasnodar Territory, the Moscow region, the Republic of Crimea, the Republic of Adygea, as well as over the waters of the Azov and Black Seas.
