The head of Stavropol region proposed to increase the limits of fuel supply per car
On July 14, Vladimir Vladimirov, Governor of the Stavropol Territory, proposed increasing fuel supply limits per car and introducing a number of other measures to stabilize the situation in the region's fuel market.
The authorities paid special attention to the work of emergency and public services. Uninterrupted fuel supplies will be provided for ambulances, fire brigades, public transport, as well as road and utility vehicles. The supply is planned to be carried out through direct contacts with the largest oil companies.
"This should ensure that life support services do not experience disruptions," Vladimirov said on the Telegram channel.
In addition, the head of Stavropol suggested that fuel companies increase fuel supply limits per car. He explained that now many drivers are forced to queue twice to get the required amount of fuel, which artificially increases the waiting time at the gas station.
During the meeting, the governor also instructed the regional Ministry of Industry to work out the issue of the participation of local oil companies in transactions for the purchase of imported fuel, which are supervised by the Russian government.
The day before, Russian President Vladimir Putin noted that attacks by the Ukrainian Armed Forces on Russia's civilian infrastructure were creating problems with oil products in the country, but the situation would gradually improve. He also stressed that Russia has a strong and reliable energy foundation.
