The Russian film "The Last Hero. Kolobok" it makes no sense to compete with the new Marvel movie "Spider-Man: A New Day", which will not be officially released in Russia, since these films are initially in unequal conditions. This opinion was expressed by film critic Timur Aliyev.

"He simply has no reason and, most importantly, nothing with which to defeat the new Spider-Man. The fight is unequal by definition: a legal release versus an illegal one, a picture with a powerful promotion against a film whose promotion in Russia no one really does," he said.

"The last hero. Kolobok" will be released on August 6. On July 13, information spread in the media that the distributor "Atmosphere Cinema" and the Association of Cinema Owners (AVK) called on cinemas to postpone the release of the film "Spider-Man: A New Day" until August 20 in order to support the domestic novelty and summer rental.

"We are extremely concerned that instead of covering really serious issues, the media is discussing standard procedures for changing the release date of a particular film.

For three years, AVK has consistently advocated for optimal conditions for the promotion of Russian film releases. Our strategy includes careful planning of premieres, creating a favorable environment. This approach is aimed at strengthening and maximizing the potential of the national cinematography," Alexey Voronkov, the head of the association, replied to a request from Izvestia on July 13.

At the same time, announcements of the screenings of the new "Spider-Man" as part of the pre-screening service have already appeared on cinema posters.
