Vucic confirmed meeting with Zelensky in Kyiv on July 15
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said he would attend the Southeast Europe-Ukraine summit in Kiev on July 15 and meet with Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky.
"I briefly exchanged views on various issues with Vladimir Zelensky, with whom I am scheduled to meet in about a day," Novosti quoted him as saying.
On the same day, Vucic noted that Europe could face economic difficulties due to gas shortages and the ongoing Ukrainian conflict.
On July 9, former President Milorad Dodik, chairman of Republika Srpska's leading political party, the Union of Independent Social Democrats, said that the residents of the entity wished Russia victory in a special military operation.
The official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Maria Zakharova, said on July 11 that the Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk, did not miss the opportunity to turn the conference of chairmen of parliaments of candidate countries in Belgrade into another anti-Russian benefit.
