In Poland, a man mistook a Pole for a Ukrainian and beat him
In the Polish city of Lodz, a Pole beat up a local resident because he mistook him for a Ukrainian. This was reported on July 14 by RMF24 radio.
"The victim is Polish. According to police, the attacker mistook him for a Ukrainian and hit him twice on the head. As a result of the attack, the victim's nose and jaw were broken," the article says.
The attacker also insulted the Lodz resident, hinting that "he has no place in Poland."
Radio Wroclaw reported on June 9 that a crowd of young Polish citizens beat up a 19-year-old Ukrainian in the Polish city of Wroclaw for speaking Ukrainian. According to journalists, the victim's nose was broken and he suffered a spinal injury. The victim said that after talking on the phone in Ukrainian, a peer approached him and rudely demanded to give him an electronic cigarette. When he refused, the man whistled, calling the others together, after which a fight began.
