Russia to launch a business transformation program based on China's model

On September 28, Russia will launch a new international educational program for top managers, "Innovation Management based on the Chinese Model.": strategy, cooperation and acceleration of product withdrawal." You can apply for participation until the end of July on the event's website, the authors of the program said.

Three full-time modules will be held in Russia (Moscow) and China (Hong Kong), and online inter-module work is also provided. At the end of the program, participants will receive certificates of advanced training from the University of NTI 2035 and MIPT, as well as an international certificate from the Hong Kong Business School.

The program will be taught by leading experts and practicing professors from Russia and China, including representatives of the University of Hong Kong (HKU University), the University of NTI 2035, MIPT, VEB.Russian Federation and other organizations. Among the invited experts are Jeff Sempler, a practicing professor of strategy and technology at the University of Hong Kong, Alan Chui, an associate professor at the University of Hong Kong, Elena Anokhova, First Vice-rector of MIPT, Alexander Pavlov, Chief Managing Partner of VEB.Russian Federation, Olga Dergunova, Director of HSE St. Petersburg State University and others.

"In the modern economy, innovation is not an option, but a necessity for the development and improvement of business competitiveness. That is why we have created a joint program with the leaders of the Russian and international markets, combining our many years of practical experience, the academic expertise of MIPT and the University of NTI 2035 and the global vision of the University of Hong Kong," said Ekaterina Petrova, Director of the GenerationS Corporate Innovation development platform.

According to her, the goal of the program is to train managers and managers who are able to carry out complex business transformations and shape a new innovation agenda in their companies and industries. "To do this, we develop participants' strategic thinking and provide practical tools in our program," explained Petrova.

The participants can be top officials of companies, directors of strategy, innovation and digitalization, heads of key business areas, as well as heads of scientific and educational institutions. The program is aimed at those who have previously completed training in improving labor productivity under the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy" (federal project "Labor Productivity").

The key thematic blocks of the program cover the formation of an innovation strategy and conducting an audit of an organization's innovation maturity, building effective ecosystems and partnerships. Participants will also explore the Chinese innovation management model and best practices in technology commercialization. In addition, students will be introduced to the tools for financing and scaling innovative projects, as well as the development of technological roadmaps and the implementation of international experience in Russian organizations.

Following the training, each participant will develop an innovation maturity profile for their organization, formulate an innovation development strategy, and prepare a roadmap for project implementation. The students will also build a model of cooperation with universities and industrial partners and present a ready-made implementation project before an expert commission.
