The Commander of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was placed under arrest for two months after the murder of two brothers

Stanislav Luchanov, the former commander of the 155th Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU), was placed under arrest for 60 days on charges of murdering two civilians in the Kiev region. This was reported on July 14 by the Ukrainian online newspaper "Страна.иа ".

"The ex-commander of the 155 brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Stanislav Luchanov, was sent into custody for two months. <...> At the trial, he stated that he did not admit guilt, and his wife had no conflict with the dead," the Telegram channel said.

On the same day, Luchanov was accused of organizing the abduction and murder of the Mosiychuk brothers, whom the military held in a unit for several days and then shot dead at a training ground.

The assault regiment counted 26 dead recruits.

On the eve of the "Country.ua" reported that Luchanov organized the murder of two residents of the Kiev region after a domestic conflict with his wife. The noise from motorcycles racing through the streets of the village prevented the woman from sleeping. The local guys responded to one of the comments "not according to the rules" and rather sharply.

The Ukrainian portal Novosti.LIVE reported on July 11 that Luchanov voluntarily left the military unit and was put on the wanted list. The incident occurred against the background of an investigation into a kidnapping case in the Kiev region. On the same day, the brigade commander's name appeared on the Peacekeeper website (recognized as extremist and banned in the Russian Federation).
