In May, Russia retained its status as the largest oil supplier to China. This follows from a report published on July 14 on the website of the International Energy Agency.

At the end of spring, Russian exporters provided 25% of China's oil import needs. Saudi Arabia took the second place in the list of leading suppliers of raw materials to China, with a share of 17%.

At the same time, the total volume of oil supplies to China dropped sharply in late spring. The indicator fell from 9.32 million barrels per day to 7.72 million. According to analysts, the negative dynamics of imports to the Asian country continued in June.
