Sobyanin announced the destruction of two drones flying to Moscow

Two drones flying towards Moscow were destroyed by Russian air defense systems. This was announced on July 14 by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin.

"The air defense forces of the Ministry of Defense destroyed two drones flying to Moscow. Emergency services specialists are working at the crash site," he wrote on the Maks messenger.

The new units will cover the rear in the special operation zone.

Earlier in the day, the Ministry of Defense announced the destruction of 288 Ukrainian drones over the regions of Russia by air defense systems. In particular, drones were eliminated over the Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, Lipetsk, Orel, Rostov, Ryazan, Saratov and Tula regions, as well as over the Moscow region, Krasnodar Territory, Crimea and Bashkortostan.
