Trump announced the discussion of the Graham bill on anti-Russian sanctions
On July 13, US President Donald Trump announced that he was currently discussing a bill from Republican Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina (listed as a terrorist and extremist by Rosfinmonitoring) to impose anti-Russian sanctions.
"We are discussing this (Graham's bill on sanctions — Ed.) and will make a decision on this issue very soon," the US president said during a conversation with reporters in the Oval Office, the video was posted on the White House YouTube channel.
The Axios portal reported on July 12 that Graham, shortly before his death, joked that he "could not die" until he achieved the introduction of new sanctions against Russia. According to the newspaper, on Saturday evening, July 11, a few hours before his death, Graham spoke on the phone with Trump. The senator told the American leader about his recent trip to Ukraine and the bill on new anti-Russian sanctions.
