There will be no more long weekends in Russia in 2026.
Long weekends are no longer expected in Russia this year. This follows from the production calendar data.
It is noted that National Unity Day on November 4 this year falls on a Wednesday, so Russians will have one day off in the middle of the working week without a three-day rest. The last three-day weekend in 2026 was held from June 12 to June 14, when Russia Day was celebrated in the country.
On July 6, Nadezhda Chernykh, Head of the K.N. Gusov Department of Labor Law and Social Security Law at the Moscow State Law University, said that the total number of working days for Russians in 2027 under the five-day system would be 247. At the same time, Russians will have 118 days of rest next year.
