MAER supports the #MYPLACE International Award

A record 60,633 applications from 155 countries have been received to participate in the sixth season of the #MYPLACE International Award, the main award for social projects implemented with the support of the President of the Russian Federation. The results of the bid campaign were summed up at a press conference in Moscow.

"Over 250,000 applications have been received for the award, and about 750 participants have become finalists and received support for their projects. Since last year, #MYPLACE has been held within the framework of the national project "Youth and Children", and since this year — the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia — a special nomination "The Power of Unity" has been launched. She has collected more than a thousand applications. The most popular in the category of "NGOs and projects" remains "Heroes of Our Time," said Dmitry Chernyshenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation.

Compared to last season, the number of applications increased by 16%, and the number of participating countries increased by 8.

"In the sixth season of the #MY PLACE Award, we received a record 60,000 applications from volunteers and authors of social projects from 155 countries around the world. This is more than 8,000 more applications than last season," said Grigory Gurov, Head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs and Executive Secretary of the award organizing Committee.

The international focus of the award also continues to grow, both in terms of the number of projects and geography. This year, 5,537 applications were received, which is 34.2% more than in 2025.

"Volunteerism has become a universal language, understandable on all continents, and the award helps to find leaders around the world. Many of its participants then go on international missions: the Dobro Mission program, launched on behalf of the President of the Russian Federation, brought together a volunteer reserve of more than 600 specialists," said the Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Youth Policy, head of the Dobro ecosystem.Russian Federation Artem Metelev.

There are four main categories in the sixth season: "Personality", "NGOs and projects", "Companies" and "Territory", as well as a new special nomination "The Power of Unity".

"The Power of Unity nomination, dedicated to people and organizations that help maintain social cohesion and unite people around common values, is of particular importance to us. We are ready to provide its finalists with additional information opportunities so that the IER audience, more than 60 million people, can see the stories of those who, through their work, responsibility and caring, make our country stronger," said Konstantin Mayor, owner and CEO of the IER media holding, a member of the organizing committee of the award.

MAER has been supporting the award for more than 5 years, providing information support for projects aimed at developing volunteerism and civic initiatives.
