Employees of the Shopping mall abducted a priest of the UOC in Krivoy Rog

Employees of the territorial recruitment center (TCC, the equivalent of military enlistment offices in Ukraine) mobilized a priest of the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOC), Priest Roman Nagornyak, in the city of Krivoy Rog. This was reported on July 13 on the website of the Union of Orthodox Journalists (UOJ).

"The incident occurred when the rector of the Church of Saints Constantine and Elena in the village of Chervonokonstantinovka was returning by car from work. Representatives of the shopping mall stopped the vehicle and took the clergyman away," the article says.

According to the resource, the incident occurred on July 10, but it was reported only now. According to the UOJ, the priest has already passed the military medical commission and is at one of the training grounds in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Also, on June 7, the staff of the Shopping Center mobilized a clergyman of the canonical UOC in Odessa, Protodeacon Nikolai Mazurts. Despite the presence of diseases, including myopia and spinal problems, the military medical commission recognized him as fit for military service. On the day of his detention, the clergyman was sent to the Vinnytsia region.
