The Island of Dreams has planted more than 27,000 trees and shrubs in the Nagatinskaya floodplain.

The development strategy of the Island of Dreams holding company includes consistent efforts to create a comfortable urban environment. One of the key areas of this activity is landscaping and landscaping of the territory, which corresponds to the principles of sustainable development and responsible attitude to urban space. In just six years of operation, the Island of Dreams has already planted more than 27 thousand trees and shrubs.

The first object of a comfortable urban environment in the cluster was the Southern Landscape Park, which opened in 2020 simultaneously with the all-season amusement park "Island of Dreams". As a result of the project, a modern public space has appeared here for walking, family recreation, sports and city events, recreation areas with wooden sun beds are equipped, eight fountains and five playgrounds work. Entrance to the park is free.

Dozens of species of trees and shrubs have been planted in the Southern Landscape Park and along the central alley, and many flower beds of more than 20,000 perennial plants have been created. Additional landscaping of the territory was carried out several times. For example, 85 Nedzvetsky apple trees and Siberian cedars were planted in 2022, 17 small—leaved linden seedlings were planted in 2024, and an entire alley of 100 maples appeared at a Father's Day celebration.

"We consider landscaping as an important part of the Island of Dreams concept and have been following the principles of sustainable development since the start of the project. At the moment, landscaping is also continuing in the outdoor space of the amusement park, where the preparation of new themed areas is being completed. The project takes into account the peculiarities of the natural landscape of the Nagatinskaya floodplain: the specialists managed to preserve healthy trees, making them part of the thematization, and new plants were planted instead of the emergency ones," said Anna Rubtsova, chief architect of the Island of Dreams.

The green landscape creates a comfortable environment for walking and relaxing, and creates additional shaded spaces. In total, more than 260 trees and over 8 thousand shrubs will appear in the outdoor part of the amusement park. Among them: birches and maples, linden trees and poplars, chestnuts and bird cherry trees, pines and firs, apple trees and elms. In addition, more than ten species of deciduous shrubs have been planted: birch bark, hydrangea, willow, dogwood, pemphigus, mountain ash, barberry, spiraea and other species. As well as coniferous plants: several types of thuja, juniper.
