S7 Airlines has launched a service thanking flight attendants

S7 Airlines was the first airline in Russia to launch a service thanking flight attendants — now passengers can make a voluntary money transfer. The project is timed to coincide with the World Civil Aviation Flight Attendant Day. The airline told Izvestia about this on July 12.

After each flight, S7 passengers receive a survey letter where they can leave comments and evaluate the work of both the entire team and each cabin crew member. Now it has a "Thank you" button, with which you can optionally send any amount to the flight attendants.

The service does not affect the remuneration system — it is an additional way to express your appreciation for help, attention and care, the company explained.

"The opportunity to express special gratitude to employees for their care and high-quality service has already become familiar in many areas. For us, this is a way to emphasize the importance and versatility of the work of flight attendants. It is important to us that their professionalism and attitude towards passengers receive recognition not only within the company, but also from those for whom they work," said Maria Fileva, Deputy General Director for Marketing and PR.

S7 Airlines is the largest private airline in Russia. In 2025, it transported 12.8 million passengers with an average onboard load of 94%.

Since January, S7 Airlines has also increased the number of flights from Moscow to ski resorts. At the same time, flights from the capital to Kirovsk (Apatity) have resumed. It was clarified that the frequency of flights is increasing along with the flow of tourists: from two flights per week at the beginning of the program to six flights by the March peak season.
