Scratches and signs of forced entry on the ATM case are among the signs of a dangerous ATM. This was reported by TASS with reference to the press center of the Russian Interior Ministry.

The department noted that among the signs of a dangerous ATM, there are also keyboard pads, parts that differ in color, foreign objects, as well as situations in which the card hardly enters the card reader.

In addition, it is worth paying attention to the availability of contactless payment (NFC).

On July 5, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation reported that the installation of fraudulent readers on ATMs for the purpose of stealing bank data became technically impossible in Russia after the advent of contactless banking terminals.
