Tusk called on Ukrainians to sober up amid the glorification of the Nazis

Ukrainians should sober up against the background of their glorification by the Nazis, as this factor will allow them to lay the foundation for a subsequent truce. This was announced on July 10 by Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

"I want to appeal to all decent, smart, responsible Ukrainians. <...> I count on sobering up from that (Ukrainian — Ed.) side. I also count on restraining excessive emotions in Poland," he said during the broadcast, which was posted on Janusz Jaskółka's YouTube channel.

Tusk advised the citizens of Ukraine to remember that the "great European community" supposedly always tries to rely on the truth. The aggravation of relations between Warsaw and Kiev, according to him, harms them first of all.

Arkadiusz Mularczyk, a member of the European Parliament from the Polish Law and Justice party, said on June 30 that Poland had already recovered from the idealistic perception of Ukraine.
