The Russian Foreign Ministry reported secret calls from the West to discuss the human rights report

The Russian Foreign Ministry receives anonymous calls from representatives of Western embassies who want to discuss the joint report of Russia and Belarus on the human rights situation, which deals with their countries. This was announced on July 10 by Grigory Lukyantsev, Director of the Department of Multilateral Cooperation on Human Rights at the Russian Foreign Ministry.

He noted that publicly, diplomats pretend that such a document does not exist. Although behind the scenes, calls to the foreign diplomatic department of the Russian Federation immediately began after the report was compiled.

"Some of our colleagues from Western embassies are calling our department anonymously and offering to discuss certain sections on their countries. Outwardly, they pretend that the report does not exist, [but in fact] they get to know it in great detail," Lukyantsev told TASS.

A joint report by the Russian and Belarusian Foreign Ministries on the human rights situation in individual countries, which was published on June 15, indicated, in particular, that the West had begun discussing the use of the Kiev regime against Belarus, as it has been using it against Russia since 2022. The report was prepared as a continuation of the annual reports of the foreign ministries of the two sides on the human rights situation.

Russian Defense Minister Andrei Belousov, during talks with his Belarusian counterpart Viktor Khrenin on June 3, said that Moscow and Minsk were actively developing military cooperation against the background of NATO's continuous hostile activities near the border of the two states.
