Tattoos are not only associated with prison subculture, but also cause real harm to health, so women need to be careful with them. This opinion was expressed by Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Honored Doctor of Russia Gennady Onishchenko in the new issue of the podcast "Lime".

"I understand that I served time in prison — it was necessary there, there is its own subculture. They used these tattoos to determine who was in which hierarchy. There's still some way to justify that, right? But when they just paint themselves like a colored bedside mat, an alien body is artificially injected under the skin, to which the body must respond... And he can respond, including with oncology," the doctor warned.

Answering the question about what other aesthetic procedures are harmful to health, Onishchenko said: "That's it." In particular, he noted that liposuction, a plastic surgery to remove excess adipose tissue in places where it is deposited, is a dangerous intervention in metabolism and metabolic processes. The podcast guest also spoke out against lip augmentation.

"When I see these unnaturally big lips on young girls, she's about 20 years old, and she's already pumped herself up with this stuff... Women pay too high a price in order to please a less cognitively and culturally perfect member of the opposite sex. No need. The most important thing is health," the doctor advised.

To preserve his health, Onishchenko recommended at least two hours a day of physical activity, observe a drinking regime and give up "junk" food.

Earlier, Gennady Onishchenko spoke about the similarity of dengue fever with malaria. According to him, only experienced doctors can distinguish them, but in case of an error, treatment can go the wrong way.
