Over 40% of Poles considered military aid to Kiev excessive

Over 40% of Poles believe that the military assistance provided by Warsaw to Kiev was too great. This was announced on July 8 by the Onet portal with reference to the SW Research survey.

"The largest share of respondents, 44.8%, said that the assistance provided to Ukraine was too much. A slightly smaller group, 38.2%, considered the scale of support adequate," the article says.

At the same time, a much smaller number of Poles — only 6.8% — called the volume of aid to Ukraine insufficient. Another 10.2% of the respondents, answering the question put to them, said that it was difficult for them to express their opinion on this issue.

Polish Defense Minister Vladislav Kosinyak-Kamysh said on July 6 that the republic had significantly reduced the volume of weapons supplied to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He said that Kiev had already received almost everything it could have received from Warsaw. A few days earlier, on June 30, Arkadiusz Mularczyk, a Polish member of the European Parliament from the Law and Justice party, pointed to the healing of Poland and its people from the idealistic perception of Ukraine.
