Former captain of the Russian national football team Evgeny Aldonin returned to Moscow from Germany to continue treatment for cancer. This was announced on July 8 by his former national team partner Dmitry Bulykin.

"Zhenya has arrived in Moscow and is currently continuing treatment here. Of course, nothing is completely clear yet, but the fact that he is already in Moscow is already a good thing. He was treated abroad for almost a year," he told RIA Novosti.

Bulykin said that Aldonin returned to the capital and even managed to play padel with hockey players Ilya Kovalchuk and Evgeny Malkin. The agency's interlocutor expressed the hope that positive emotions and communication with loved ones will help Aldonin in recovery.
