AvtoVAZ denied rumors about price increases for Lada models

AvtoVAZ has no plans to raise prices for Lada cars from August 1. This is stated in the message of the Russian automaker, received by Izvestia on July 8. Information about the alleged upcoming rise in price of Lada models, which appeared on social networks and messengers, is fake, the company noted.

"AvtoVAZ is not responsible for the false information of individual Tolyatti "insider bloggers", as well as for the results of their communication with obscure representatives of the alleged Lada dealer community," the press service of AvtoVAZ reported.

It is specified that there will be no changes in Lada's pricing policy from August 1.
