Kuwait's air defense systems intercepted two missiles and 13 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in the country's airspace. This was reported on July 8 by the KUNA news agency with reference to the National Ministry of Defense.

"In the morning, the armed forces discovered two ballistic missiles and 13 drones that had penetrated Kuwait's airspace," the agency's text is quoted on the media page on the social network X (former. Twitter).

The military indicated that the facilities had been identified and successfully neutralized. There were no casualties during the attack.

Prior to that, on June 29, the emirate's Defense Ministry reported the interception of two ballistic missiles by Kuwait's air defenses that entered the country's airspace. The ministry indicated that the missiles were detected and intercepted in a timely manner in accordance with approved operational procedures.
