Mehr reported explosions in Iran's Bushehr

A series of explosions occurred in Iran's Bushehr and the surrounding areas. This was reported by the Mehr news agency on July 8.

"Several explosions were heard in the city of Bushehr and the surrounding areas," the Telegram channel said.

The agency, citing its correspondent, clarified that the information received about the alleged same incidents on Kharq Island is invalid.

On the same day, the press service of the Central Command of the US Armed Forces (AF) reported that powerful strikes had been launched against Iran in response to alleged shelling of civilian vessels by it. This operation, according to one of the American officials, has become larger than the previous ones. It involved the American Air Force and tactical naval aviation.

Meanwhile, the central headquarters of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Khatam al-Anbiya promised Washington an appropriate response. It was clarified that the US military deployed its operations in the south of the country.
