An Axios journalist reported on the targets of US strikes on facilities in Iran

The targets of the US strikes on Iran were air defense systems, missile depots and unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) launch sites. This was reported on July 8 by Axios journalist Barak Ravid, citing sources.

"The attacked targets included Iranian air defense systems, coastal surveillance systems, anti—aircraft missiles, anti-ship cruise missile launch pads, drone launch pads, and Iranian port facilities," Ravid wrote on the social network X.

According to the journalist, a representative of the American administration said that the past strikes were much larger than the previous attacks carried out about 10 days ago.

"The attacks by the US army in Iran tonight were four to five times larger and more powerful than the recent attacks carried out about 10 days ago," Ravid said in a statement.
