In Yekaterinburg, a local resident was charged with two murders committed in 1993. The SU IC of Russia for the Sverdlovsk region reported this on Tuesday, July 7.
The investigation believes that in February 1993, the accused killed a man with whom he had a conflict. The victim's body was found at a heating main near one of the houses on Dagestanskaya Street.
In August of the same year, he killed a local woman out of personal animosity. Her body was subsequently found near the houses on Vladivostok Street, the news agency " <url>" clarifies.
The criminal cases initiated according to these facts remained unsolved for a long time. In the course of solving crimes of previous years, it was possible to establish that both murders were committed by the same person, and later to get on the trail of the criminal.
The suspect is currently in custody. He was charged under Article 103 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR "Premeditated murder" and Article 102 of the Criminal Code of the RSFSR "Premeditated murder under aggravating circumstances." According to the investigation, she came from Blagoveshchensk to Vladivostok to buy a car, but came across scammers who took her money, and then took her to the area of the ash dump and killed her.
