On approach to Cherepovets, one drone was shot down

The forces of the Russian Ministry of Defense destroyed an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) on approach to Cherepovets. This was announced on July 7 by the Governor of the Vologda region, Georgy Filimonov.

"The forces of the Ministry of Defense shot down one UAV on approach to Cherepovets. Operational services are working," he wrote on his Telegram channel.

The head of the region also urged residents of the region to remain calm and take the necessary precautions.

On the same day, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that between 08:00 and 20:00 Moscow time, the air defense forces shot down 190 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over the territory of Russia. It was noted that the devices were neutralized over the territory of 13 Russian regions, as well as over the Black and Azov Seas.
