"First—graders first of all need to adapt to the process of primary education. <...> This is a new atmosphere, this is acquaintance with classmates, with teachers, with a certain order of discipline, and it is very important not to load the child with separate household processes so that he is focused on these issues," the parliamentarian said in an interview with Lenta.Ru .

Earlier, the Ministry of Education canceled homework for first-graders, NSN reports. The innovation will be effective from September 1, 2026, RT clarifies. The position on the total amount of homework in all subjects for the first grade with a duration of one hour is excluded, clarifies 360.ru .

The head of Rosobrnadzor, Anzor Muzaev, said on June 7 that it was necessary to change the format of homework in Russian schools so that artificial intelligence could not complete them, Moscow 24 writes.
