The number of victims of a Ukrainian drone attack on a passenger bus in the Belgorod region has increased to eight people, including three children. This was reported on July 7 in the Telegram channel of the regional operational headquarters.

"Eight people, including three children, were injured in a drone attack on a passenger bus on a section of the Nikolskoye–Tavrovo highway," the publication says.

The regional authorities clarified that all three children were hospitalized at the children's regional clinical hospital. Doctors assess the one-year-old girl's condition as severe.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked a bus on the Nikolskoye–Tavrovo highway on July 6. As a result of the attack, a one-year-old girl was hospitalized, her condition is assessed as serious. A 10-year-old boy and three adults with mine-blast injuries were also taken to the hospital.

The Commissioner for Human Rights in the Russian Federation, Yana Lantratova, announced that she had sent an appeal to the UN in connection with the Ukrainian Armed Forces strike on a bus in the Belgorod region. She noted that civilians, including children, were seriously injured as a result of the strike.
