According to the results of the first half of the year, 30,730 plug-in hybrids were sold in Russia. This was announced on July 7 by Sergey Tselikov, General Director of the Autostat analytical agency.

He noted that compared to the six months of 2025, sales of such car modules increased by 132%. Currently, such machines occupy 5% of the total market.

According to the head of Autostat, the Voyah Free (6,184 units), Evolve I-Space (4,429 units) and Geely EX5 EM-I (3,796 units) models became the leaders in this segment in the first six months of this year.

"In June, 6,149 plug—in hybrids were sold on the Russian market, which corresponds to 5.3% of total new car sales," Tselikov said.

The day before, Andrey Reznikov, the brand's managing partner, announced that in the second half of the year, only hybrids and electric vehicles localized in Russia will be sold under the Evolve brand. According to the requirements of the Ministry of Industry and Trade, electric vehicles should catch up with fossil fuel models by 2032, having reached localization at about 5,000 points by that time, depending on the models.
