In Gelendzhik, employees of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Krasnodar Territory detained a Russian citizen who, according to the agency, was collecting and transmitting information to the special services of Ukraine. This was announced on July 7 by the department's Public Relations Center.

According to the regional department of the FSB, the detainee was collecting information that could be used by foreign intelligence services to their advantage.
