Private Buchnev secured an important cargo from a drone strike in his area

Private Vyacheslav Buchnev was carrying out the task of delivering food and ammunition to the front lines when his car was attacked by an enemy unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense reported on the exploits of servicemen of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the area of a special military operation on Tuesday, July 7.

Buchnev quickly got his bearings, got out of the car and used small arms, opening fire on the target. As a result, the drone of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) was destroyed, and the private successfully delivered the cargo to the Russian military.

The Ministry of Defense also noted the courage of junior Sergeant Konstantin Prokhorov, who participated in the liberation of one of the settlements in the SVR zone as part of his group.

While advancing through the forest belt, the group came under mortar fire from the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Prokhorov noticed that one of his comrades was injured and rushed to provide first aid. Despite the dangerous situation, the soldier managed to evacuate the victim and ensure his delivery to the hospital for further treatment.
