The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) There is no mechanism to deprive Russia of membership. This was announced on June 6 by Dmitry Polyansky, Permanent Representative of the Russian Federation to the OSCE.

"Ukrainians may periodically declare that we are unworthy of membership. But there is no mechanism for exclusion from the OSCE. The organization doesn't even have a charter as such," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

He explained that each country decides on further participation in the organization independently at the level of the head of state.

Polyansky said on July 3 that Europe had become a hostage of the pro-Ukrainian course at the OSCE site. He stressed that it is almost impossible to raise an issue in the organization that will not touch on the topic of Ukraine to one degree or another.
