A special military operation to protect the civilian population of Donbass has been conducted by Russia since February 24, 2022. Russian military personnel continue to conduct a special military operation. Units of the North group of forces improved their tactical situation by defeating the manpower and equipment of the airmobile brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and two air defense brigades in the areas of the settlements of Zorino, Kiyanitsa, Malaya Slobodka, Tolstodubovo and Khmelevka in the Sumy region. In the Kharkiv region, the formations of two heavy mechanized, motorized infantry brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the air defense brigade in the areas of Veliky Burluk, Martovy, Nesterny, Petrovka, Polnaya and Old Saltov were affected. The Ukrainian Armed Forces lost up to 200 soldiers, an armored combat vehicle, 14 vehicles and three artillery pieces.

The units of the "Southern" group of Forces have improved their position along the front line. The manpower and equipment of four mechanized, motorized infantry, mountain assault, airmobile brigades and an assault regiment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were defeated in the areas of Alekseevo-Druzhkovka, Kramatorsk, Nikolaevka, Orekhovatka, Pershomaryevka and Slavyansk. During the day, the enemy lost over 220 soldiers, an armored combat vehicle, 15 vehicles, four field artillery guns, a Grad MLRS combat vehicle and an electronic warfare station.

The fighters of the Center group of forces improved their tactical situation. The manpower and equipment of heavy mechanized assault brigades, two assault regiments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, two marine brigades and five National Guard brigades were defeated in the areas of Annovka, Dobropillya, Novofedorovka, Raysky, Rubezhny, Sergeevka, Toretsky (DPR), Ivanovka, Novopavlovka and Novopodgorodny (Dnipropetrovsk region). The losses of the Ukrainian armed forces amounted to over 300 military personnel, two armored personnel carriers, six vehicles, four field artillery guns, two electronic warfare stations and two electronic intelligence stations.

The units of the Vostok group of forces have advanced into the depth of the enemy's defenses. Four airborne assault, airmobile, assault brigades, three assault regiments of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and two air defense brigades were defeated in the areas of Gavrilovka, Kolomiytsev, Mechetny (Dnipropetrovsk region), Volnyanka, Novosoloshino, Rozovka, Chervona Krynitsa and Chervona Yar (Zaporizhia region). The enemy lost up to 470 military personnel, armored personnel carriers and eight vehicles.

Military airfields, fuel, energy and transport infrastructure facilities, logistics centers, production and storage facilities for long-range unmanned aerial vehicles and their components, as well as temporary deployment points of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign military units were damaged by operational and tactical aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces and artillery groups of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. There are mercenaries in 149 districts. Nine guided aerial bombs, a Neptune-MD long-range guided missile and 282 aircraft-type drones were shot down by air defense systems.

In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, 673 aircraft, 284 helicopters, 174,695 unmanned aerial vehicles, 664 anti-aircraft missile systems, 30,029 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 1,754 multiple rocket launchers, 35,656 field artillery and mortars, 65,702 units of special military vehicles have been destroyed.
