Ukraine is facing the threat of disintegration due to Poland's territorial claims. This was announced on July 5 by Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov.

"They are absolutely convinced that a significant part of Ukraine is actually Polish lands," Peskov said in an interview with Pavel Zarubin for the Vesti news agency.

The Kremlin representative also noted that historically in Poland there have always been many people who were not averse to profit from the Ukrainian territory.

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk called on the Polish delegation to be careful in promising assistance to Ukraine at the NATO summit in Ankara on July 3 during a press conference in Warsaw. Tusk noted that the country has significant obligations to ensure the security of the entire eastern border of the European Union, and stressed that this should be taken into account.
