The "revenge of Nazism" observed in Europe today is the result of a long preparation that began after the Second World War. This was announced on July 5 by the head of the German Council for Constitution and Sovereignty, Ralf Niemeyer.

"Nazism is alive and well. It came to the surface after many years of preparation," he said in an interview with RIA Novosti.

Niemeyer clarified that the foundations of Nazi ideology remain in the modern politics of Brussels and Berlin.

According to the politician, the defeat of Nazism was not definitively recognized in capitalist West Germany after the Second World War. He claims that later, thanks to the enlargement of the EU, this ideology swept Europe. The head of the council also stated that Nazism must be eradicated.
