A drone was found on the Black Sea coast in Turkey.
An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) was discovered on the Black Sea coast in the Turkish city of Filhos. This was reported on July 4 by the TRT Haber TV channel.
"An unmanned aerial vehicle was discovered on the shore of the Black Sea in the town of Filios, in the Chaijuma district of the province of Zonguldak. After reports from citizens to the emergency communications center, numerous gendarmerie groups were sent to the area," the publication says.
It is specified that the place where the drone was found was cordoned off. Initial estimates by experts point to the military origin of the drone. As the TV channel noted, law enforcement agencies are conducting a technical analysis of the origin of the UAV.
In the Turkish province of Kastamonu, on June 23, a drone crashed near a house in the village of Kushkayasi. It was clarified that after the crash, the UAV caught fire, and its debris scattered around the neighborhood. According to preliminary estimates, the weight of the device could exceed 200 kg.
