The ex-colonel declared the zero state of the Ukrainian military industry

The military-industrial complex of Ukraine is in an extremely weak state and is unable to recover. Retired Colonel Anatoly Matviychuk told Izvestia about this on July 4.

"Ukraine's military industry is an absolute zero, it cannot rise from the ashes," he said.

Matviychuk said that the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in his assessment, are not capable of stopping the offensive of Russian troops in the Donetsk direction. He cited Konstantinovka as an example, noting that the enemy planned to defend it for at least six months, but the city was taken in about a month.

The expert also added that the functions transferred by Kiev to European partners, in his opinion, do not affect the course of hostilities.
